‘Habitual Grace’ is the grace that God give to His children which adheres to the soul
‘Habitual Grace’ is the grace that God give to His children which adheres to the soul. Justifying grace and sanctifying grace are habitual graces. Justifying grace seats us in Jesus and clothes us with the breastplate of righteousness. The other, sanctifying grace, is the grace of having the Holy Spirit, living in us, helping us to live as Jesus lived.
These terms are from the early second millennium CE. Today we do not hear ‘justifying grace’ but justification. And, we do not hear ‘sanctifying grace’, but rather sanctification.
